According to the final constituency delimitation order issued by the Kerala Delimitation Commission on 10 July 2025, the number of seats to be filled through direct election in the Vaikom Block Panchayat has been fixed at 14, and accordingly, the Block Panchayat has been divided into 14 constituencies. Draft proposals relating to the delimitation had been published earlier, and time was given until 10 June 2025 for submitting objections and suggestions regarding the proposals. After examining the objections and suggestions received, hearing the complainants in person, and disposing of the matters after due consideration, the final order was issued. The boundaries of the 14 constituencies of the Vaikom Block Panchayat have been finally determined under Section 10 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994. The report provides detailed information on the name of each constituency, the Gram Panchayat constituencies included within it, and the population of each division. Various Gram Panchayat wards in areas including Maravanthuruthu, Udayanapuram, Thalayazham, Vechoor, T.V. Puram, and Chempu have been included within these 14 Block Panchayat constituencies. Thus, the final electoral constituency structure for the Vaikom Block Panchayat for 2025, along with the boundaries and population distribution of each constituency, has been officially determined.
